Competing To Be Most Unhappy

This week’s blog is One-Upmanship Of Unhappiness and I have created a few clearings to accompany it.

Have you ever caught yourself competing to be the most miserable, or the most unhappy?

I often hear people complaining about something to another person and that person seems to be compelled to do one-upmanship to be even unhappier than the first person. For example:

Person1 says, “I am so tired. I was awake until 1 AM last night.”

Person2 replies, “Well I was awake until 3AM!”

I have caught myself doing this too!! What’s up with that?!? It’s as if there is some need to be the most unhappy rather than just acknowledging what they said!

Whose lies, what lies, and how many lies do you have making you believe that you must compete to be the unhappiest and most miserable person in the conversation? Everything that is will you destroy and uncreate it all? Right and Wrong, Good and Bad, POD, POC, All 9, Shorts, Boys, and Beyonds®

What justification and defense are you using to prove to others that you are suffering? Everything that is will you destroy and uncreate it all and return all that stuff to sender with consciousness attached? Right and Wrong, Good and Bad, POD, POC, All 9, Shorts, Boys, and Beyonds®

Using “I” instead of “YOU”
