Live and Love The Questions

“Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.― Rainer Maria Rilke, German poet

People so often demand answers – the one answer, the perfect answer, the correct and true answer to everything.

In the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy book series by Douglas Adams, the answer to life, the universe and everything was (I’m going to spoil it for you) …. 42.

A little disappointing when you consider the seeming enormity of the question. The characters in the book expressed that very sentiment only to be told that they didn’t ask the right question.

Now it makes more sense when, as Rilke said in the quote above, to learn to love the questions themselves. Ask more questions. Ask questions all of the time because questions open the doors to those locked rooms that you believe you can never enter. Perhaps you didn’t even notice the locked room because it WAS locked. You may have walked right passed it because you didn’t think to ask if it was there!

When you start asking more questions, those doors of possibilities start showing up and start opening. Thus they become part of your awareness as choices that are available to you. It’s an amazing process! Ask and it shows up. Ask and it shall be given.

See, it makes more sense now!

You ask a question and you invite all that amazing awareness to show up!

Ask a question then LISTEN for the Universe to tell you what possibilities exist beyond what you have always chosen in the past. Be open to the infinite possibilities the Universe offers you in every second of your existence!

Allow yourself to be freed from the insistence of an immediate answer!! Allow yourself to be open to the doors of possibility to open so you can explore the array of possibilities and choices available.

Questions are very powerful tools that can literally set you free of all your limitations and blast you in to a life of ease, joy and glory.

The more you ask questions, the more aware you become of the possibilities that exist for you.

Your preparation for the real world is not in the answers you’ve learned, but in the questions you’ve learned how to ask yourself.”  — Bill Watterson, author of Calvin and Hobbes

Get out there an invite more possibilities to show up!!
