This past week has been mostly about the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing for me.
I had the premiere of a documentary that I am in called “50/50 Lunar Legends” that reflects upon the space program and how it influenced me to get into STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) and into the Space Shuttle Program. I went to see astronauts and all sorts of other things as I reflected upon the moon landing and on my life.
So now, I thought I would share with you one of my previous blogs from 2017 about exploring your natural talents and creating your life. In

What if you could just allow yourself to use your natural talents and abilities to accomplish tasks, even when it comes to things like art, cooking, sewing, putting things together, etc?
Have you ever just naturally accomplish a task one way and were completely satisfied with it until someone questioned it. Then did you start questioning yourself and judging your methods instead of just saying, “Yes that’s how I did it.”
We tend to believe that other people are more knowledgeable and accomplished tha we are just because they may have some sort of training in a different method. But that training doesn’t make their method necessarily better than any other methodology, it just makes it different.
Many people have amazing natural talents and abilities that they never took classes to learn or refine, it simply makes sense to them to do things a particular way that WORKS!
Often trying to change or refine that natural talent leads to a lot of frustration for both the student and the teacher. And does it really make the student better? Maybe, maybe not. (continue reading at https://iampurpledawn.com/2017/10/29/you-are-a-natural-baby/ )
And remember, you have the right to choose for your life.
When people start telling you how to live your life, ask yourself:
- Is what they are saying what I would like to have in my life?
- Is it going to make me happy?
- What would I like to choose?
Thank them for their input and choose for you!
The sky isn’t the limit. The moon and beyond are not the limit.
Only you can limit you!
