Carrying Events Forward

Are you carrying the things that your ancestors (recent and not-so-recent) deemed it necessary to carry forward and keep alive and remembered forever?

Is that necessary? Must all of that be kept alive and remembered and carried forever?

It’s all sorts of remembrances, anniversaries, holidays, and commemorations that you tend to make so significant, like births, deaths, weddings, divorces, peace, wars, battles, natural disasters, public events, and the list goes on. What if you could let go of that?
