Blessings for the New Year 2026

Happy New Year.

I wrote the following blessing 20 years ago for the wedding of some friends.

Today, I share it with you for the new year ahead.

Whatever challenges you have, it’s time to look ahead to the promises of the new year.

Blessings for the New Year

As you go through life,

May you have

More love than pain,

More faith than doubts,

More hope than despair,

More joy than sadness,

More light than darkness,

More harmony than strife,

More laughter than tears.

May your loved ones gather round you and bolster you.

May you lead by example, and follow divine guidance.

May you honor the Earth Mother and draw from her strength.

May you know your heart, live your dreams, and walk in peace.

May you find, when you’re at the end of your rope,

That there is solid footing within reach

Once you have the courage to let go.

May your love be unlimited,

Your joy be unbounded

And your heart be fearless.

And always remember that
