What If You Fly?

What If You Fly?

Do you stop yourself from DOING and BEING more in life for fear you will fail?

On the breezes of the sky,
And you ask “What if I fall?”
Oh but my darling,
What if you fly?”

If you don’t take the first step, you’ll never know where you could have gone.

How often have you heard “Failure is not an option”? And yet, failing helps you get to the NEXT option. I love these quotes:

There is no such thing as a failed experiment, only experiments with unexpected outcomes.” — R. Buckminster Fuller

I Have Not Failed, I’ve Just Found 10,000 Ways that Won’t Work” — Thomas Edison

It’s those so-called failures that move us forward. They show us what isn’t working, what won’t work, what needs to change, so we can do and be something different, something more, something beyond what we are now.

When you “fail”, pick yourself up, brush yourself off and ask “What other possibilities do I have here?” and “What’s my next step?”

And, as Dory says in the Disney movie, Finding Nemo: “When life gets you down, you know what you gotta do? Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming.

You just keep asking what you can be and do next to move you toward what you truly desire!

Thus, I would change Dory’s advice just a bit to “Just keep asking”!

What if you don’t simply fly or swim? What if you soar?
