Defining the Holidays

Gary Douglas says, “definition by definition alone is a limitation”

When you look up the meaning of “definition” it is to fix or lay down clearly and definitely; specify distinctly: to define one’s responsibilities. So it is solidifying what something is and is not, what it is allowed to be and not allowed to be.

We live in a world where we define everything and everyone.

We label them and define them and limit them AND ourselves.

How much are you defining and limiting yourself and everyone else at the holidays?

What definitions are you using to create the limitations of the holidays, and the limitations of yourself and everyone else at the holidays you are choosing?
