Being The Super Rescuer
Are you everyone’s designated driver? Are you the Super R
I spent a lot of years being that person. I was always there when someone needed me. They’d say, “Oh, well, we’ll have Dawn do it. She’ll take care of it.” And yes, I can do it, but is that really what I would like to be doing? Is there more I would like to have for my life? Yes, there was and is more I want to do with my life.
I didn’t want to always be the person who had to swoop in and take care of everybody and fix everything. Because really people need to fix things, not even fix, but they need to find what keeps creating these things in their life, what’s holding those things in place, so that they can move into something different; to move beyond that stuff and have something new.
Do you know that there’s something else you would rather have in your life than what you have now? If you don’t start making the changes to get to that life you would like to have, you’re still going to be the same next year. You’re still going to be at that same place that you are now. Is that what you would really like to have? Or, would you rather start letting go of those patterns that you’ve got going on?
Again, you need to start asking what you would truly like to have in and as your life. Who would you like to have in it? What would you like to change? What would you like to add? What would you like to release? And be honest with yourself.
Then ask God/Source/Universe what will it take to get you to that life?
Then listen and pay attention for the new possibilities and new choices that start showing up.
Keep asking: What other choices and possibilities exist that I never considered or thought were not possible for me?
What’s my next step? And then the next one? You don’t have to know all of the steps, just the next one.
You deserve the life you’d like to have.
And … you have to be willing to choose it!
